About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting tenants living in government housing dwellings in remote communities. You'll help ensure tenants have the tools and knowledge to maintain safe and healthy homes, while fostering strong relationships between community members, services providers and government.

What You Will Do

  • Support tenants with tenancy related matters including forms, documents, maintenance reporting and housing concerns
  • Deliver letters & notices to tenants within the community
  • Deliver Living Strong - Healthy Living Program sessions in community
  • Maintain accurate records in tenancy management systems
  • Collaborate with the Remote Housing Project Manager and other team members to ensure compliance with the residential tenancies Act and related legislation
  • Promote safety and wellbeing, reporting hazards or incidents promptly and working in line with WHSEQ requirements

What You Will Bring

  • Live locally in Maningrida
  • Able to speak the local language
  • Available to work 20 hours per week
  • Hold a current open or provisional (P's) driver's licence
  • Basic laptop and computer skills (not essential)
