We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed-term, full-time and part‑time vacancies that may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The School

Beaconsfield Primary School (PS) is a unique Independent Public School, comprising a mainstream component, Intensive English Centre and Rottnest Island Campus. The Role

Ideally you will exhibit exemplary teaching skills, with a strong motivation to excel, and a commitment to delivering best practices. The capacity to excel in an environment characterised by whole‑school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth is highly valued. An ability to display an understanding of the school’s context is also highly desirable. As a member of our team, you would leverage high‑impact teaching strategies and showcase experience in designing and delivering engaging literacy and numeracy programmes. An understanding of differentiation to meet diverse student needs is highly valued, along with proficiency in utilising various assessment tools to inform progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide future classroom planning.

Eligibility

• hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
• apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
• consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
