Your opportunity

As Asset Manager, you will develop and implement asset strategies, maximise income and capital value and deliver high quality services, operational excellence and a customer-centric focus. In addition, this role helps to provide leadership to drive outcomes across a high performing and highly engaged team in an inclusive work environment.

Your responsibilities will include :

Drive strong engagement with key stakeholders (internal and external) to support effective decision making and enable strategic execution, whilst cultivating a customer-centric culture across all aspects of asset managementResponsible for delivering the Strategic Asset Plan for the asset(s) and ensure all items are executed in line with, or exceed, agreed strategy and timeframesAccountable for the preparation and implementation of the asset's income and expenditure budgets, and continuous monitoring, reforecasting and prudent managementWork with the team to ensure accurate and timely forecasting on a monthly (accrual) basis including provision and analysis of variance commentary and recommendation for corrective actionDrive, lead and deliver strategy aligned sustainable and profitable performance of assets within the portfolio through the identification of business initiatives and efficiencies, and assist with subsequent implementationAccountable for reporting and delivery of service in compliance with Co-Owner Agreements and Property Management AgreementsOwn and manage lease negotiations in line with the Strategic Asset Plan to maximise returns and mitigate downtimeEnsure compliance with lease terms in accordance with lease documentation, business unit deadlines and best practiceEnsure that capital works projects meet the strategic direction of the asset(s), and are delivered on time and on budgetWork collaboratively with stakeholders and assist with the completion of internal and external valuation processesProvide leadership to the asset team to develop and improve their collective strengths, skills and knowledge, while fostering high levels of engagement and performanceResponsible for ensuring the asset(s) is always maintained and presented to the highest standardAssist internal stakeholders to coordinate data, inspections and ad hoc advice in relation to the potential acquisition and disposal of assets across the portfolio, with follow through support as requiredActively contribute to project working groups across the business that deliver tangible outcomes for the divisionWork collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to ensure system / data integrity, efficient information flow and to drive portfolio wide excellence and efficiencies through consistency of approach, reporting and transfer of experiences and learningsDevelop new and grow existing industry relationships with key market experts to ensure a full understanding of the investment metrics relevant to valuations of the assetsMaintain up to date knowledge of current market information and relevant research, including identifying and responding to trends in the marketsChampion the consistent application of the key Mirvac values, leading by example and promoting a high performing and collaborative environmentYour point of difference 5+ years of experience in property, including asset management experienceDemonstrated success in achieving results through effective leadership and stakeholder relationship management at all levels, and by driving a customer-centric strategyDemonstrated people management experience, with people being developed and empowered to succeedExtensive experience in preparing asset income and expenditure budgets on an accrual basis and exposure to strategic asset planningExperience in asset analysis, with proficiency in property forecasting tools including Cougar, MRI and YardiExperience in the valuation process and an understanding of relevant investment metricsA proven track record in major lease negotiations and market rent reviewsRelevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirableExceptional organisational and resource management skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively, ensuring deadlines are achieved on timeAbility to think strategically, adapt to change, deal with ambiguity and complexityProactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to solve issues as they arise and to improve system and process efficiencies and effectivenessA commitment to quality, professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detailExceptional communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skillsLife at Mirvac 93% of our employees said that 'they were proud to work for Mirvac'Leadership and Professional Development Programs including Mirvac MastersDiverse workforce with over 25 ethnicities and 33 languages spokenDiscounts across health, wellness, lifestyle, motor vehicle, travel, technologyRewarded with $1000 Mirvac Securities annuallyAll of these attributes are preferred, if you think you may be the right fit for the role please still apply.
