About The Role

ALS Food & Pharmaceutical Division operates a modern analytical laboratory in Scoresby (Melbourne) servicing a diverse customer base. We are seeking a full-time Sampler / Courier to join our Client Services team dedicated to delivering our customers quality results, consistently and on time.

This is a Full-time role working Monday to Friday on a 7 : 30AM to 3 : 45PM roster (this can vary). Ongoing training and support will be provided.

The Day to Day

Conduct sampling according to defined procedures and to schedule.

Drive a company vehicle to collect samples from client sites and pickup locations.

Complete schedules safely and on time.

Adapt to unplanned changes in sampling / courier run to meet ad hoc client requirements.

Client-focused – organise daily work to achieve the best outcome for our customers.

Requirements

Air / Water / Food / Environmental swabbing sampling experience preferred.

Proven driving experience.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to plan and execute the logistics of the day, with sound time management.

Flexibility in responding to ad hoc changes in task or schedules.

Committed to the team while able to work autonomously.

A clear understanding of safety principles and a commitment to safe working.

Current Victorian Drivers Licence.

A National Police Criminal Check will be required prior to employment.

A general physical fitness and ability to lift up to 15kg.
