Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead our brand‑new, purpose‑built Rockdale centre . This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the learning environment, inspire your team, and make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and high-quality standards.
  • Foster creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning in every child.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with families, encouraging engagement and communication.
  • Represent the centre in the local community and promote its values.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children.
  • Assist with daily centre activities, including activity preparation and mealtimes.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of a holistic educational program.
  • Support, guide, and mentor educators to achieve professional growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s development, programs, and daily activities.
  • Uphold high standards in line with the National Quality Standards and government regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Minimum four years’ experience in a Centre Director role within an early childhood setting.
  • Current Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR, and National Police Check (within 6 months).
  • Strong knowledge of childcare regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing quality care.
