Job description

Permanent part time, two days per week :

  • Fridays 10am - 5 : 30pm
  • Saturdays 10am - 5 : 30pm

Your new role : We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated self-starter to manage our back of house function. In this role, you'll :

  • The Storeroom Assistant ensures accuracy of records and stock integrity and an efficient flow of merchandise from the storeroom to the sales floor.
  • Unpack, label, and organize merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner.
  • Receive and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy of items and quantities.
  • Commit to a safety-first culture, both for staff and customers by ensuring all OH&S standards are upheld.
  • Use of Inwards / Outwards Goods Register for all inbound / outbound stock movement.
  • Provide friendly customer service, and support customers with pickups of their purchased items.
  • Be responsible for maintaining store floor and stockroom standards.

    • What you'll bring to the role :

  • Have a great deal of retail storeroom experience (2-3 years).
  • Customer service orientation and work experience is highly desirable.
  • Various use of machinery such as Pallet Jack, Walkie Stacker, WAVe, trolley.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, squat, bend, and lift up to 15kg.
