Maintenance Officer

About The Opportunity

Based at Sutton Park Residential Aged Care home in Melton South.

Permanent Part-time, 26 hrs per week. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Key duties

• Hands‑on repairs and maintenance.
• General maintenance: painting, plastering, equipment repairs, installing doors, cupboards/shelves.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables and re‑order where required.
• Respond to maintenance issues, including requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in a shared on‑call roster to ensure continuity of service 24/7.

To be successful, you will have

• Experience in maintenance duties, preferably in an aged care environment.
• Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience.
• Current valid drivers' licence.
• Evidence of Australian work rights.
• Current national police check (or willing to obtain).
• Flu Vaccination (Recommended).
• A pre‑employment medical assessment may be required for this role.
• Availability to participate in a shared on‑call roster to ensure continuity of service 24/7.
