The Hotel Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport is a 315-room 5-star hotel located in Mascot near the Sydney domestic airport and home to our very own La Boca Restaurant and Bar. It specializes in Argentinean cuisine and features 11 function rooms – ideal for events ranging from small meetings to large conferences of 300+ guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar role, ideally within a 5-star or premium hospitality environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Deliver exceptional food and beverage service in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Understand the menu, offer suggestions, and up‑sell food and beverage items.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with flair.
  • Be one step ahead of the guest, knowing what they need before having to ask.
  • Re‑stock fridges to par levels, store and ensure the outlet is correctly stocked in accordance with outlet stock‑control guidelines.
  • Positive & engaging personality.

About You

  • Ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts over a seven‑day roster.
  • Previous experience of at least one year in food and beverage service (preferably in banquets) in a hotel environment.
  • Experience using Micros is an advantage.
  • Passionate about people, food and wine.
  • Exceptional customer‑service skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Immaculate presentation.
  • Real go‑getter who can think on their feet.
  • Availability to work overnight shift.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Current NSW Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol is essential.
