As an Employment Consultantin the recently announced Inclusive Employment Australia, you’ll work closely with people with disability to connect them to sustainable employment opportunities. You will guide, support, and motivate participants on their journey to employment, while developing strong relationships with employers and support organisations.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

• Utilising a person-centred approach to tailor services and support participants into meaningful employment
• Developing positive partnerships with local employers to create meaningful employment opportunities for participants
• Enhancing employability through referral to support services and training
• Providing in-employment support to sustain employment
• Marketing your participants’ skills to prospective employers
• Achieving program performance and quality benchmarks
• Keeping detailed, accurate records and adhering to all compliance requirements
• Actively participating in the local community to promote services

• Passionate & Motivated with a positive attitude and a strong desire to help participants succeed in employment
• Relationship Builders who have strong customer service skills and can build positive relationships with participants and employers
• Quality focused with an attention to detail and an ability to follow guidelines
• Problem solvers with the ability to think outside the square and develop strategies to place participants into sustainable employment
• Tech-Savvy and confident in using computers and online systems

Sureway Employment and Training lead the industry in Workforce Australia Employment Services and services to those with Disability. We also extend to the delivery of training and health supports. Sureway deliver innovative programs to job seekers, employers and learners across NSW, VIC, ACT, QLD, WA and SA. Our growing suite of services assists people to achieve their goals and aspirations in life.

This position requires the successful applicant to undertake a National Police Check and relevant state-based screens. Applicants also must have the right to work in Australia and hold a valid driver’s licence with reliable transport.
