In this role, you'll encounter a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities that will keep you engaged, challenged, and energized at every turn. Your duties will encompass general yard hand responsibilities such as loading/unloading trucks, conducting pre-start checks, and weekly maintenance of used equipment. Additionally, you'll be involved in pressure washing and detailing machines, undertaking general cleaning duties, and providing support to service and parts personnel as needed. Beyond these tasks, you'll also have the opportunity to identify and implement continuous improvements to processes and tooling, ensuring our operations remain efficient and effective.

Roster: Monday – Friday

Role Located: Truganina, VIC

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Driver's License: Must have a driver's license and be able to obtain relevant high-risk licenses (e.g., forklift, rigging, EWP).
• Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with the ability to utilize various software systems.
• Equipment Handling: Capable of safely handling equipment and communicating effectively with internal departments and customers.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow risk assessment and hazard identification processes.

Preferred Experiences:

• Rental/Hire Yard: Experience in rental or hire yards, with a preference for those from the heavy vehicle/mobile plant rental.
• Detailing/Wash Bay: Experience in detailing or working in a wash bay, with consideration for candidates from the automotive trade.
• Stock Controller/Inventory Controller: Ambitious candidates with experience in organizing/receiving stock, particularly in service parts and rental equipment.
• Forklift & Mobile Plant: Experience in roles where there is substantial evidence of hours spent operating forklifts and mobile plant.
