About the Role – South East Regional Hospital (Bega, Southern NSW LHD) Position Available : RN – Mental Health (Inpatient and / or Community)

Service Context : South East Regional Hospital is a key regional facility offering comprehensive services. The Mental Health team provides recovery-oriented care across acute inpatient and community settings.

Location : Bega, NSW South Coast — minutes from pristine beaches, surrounded by national parks, and approx. 2.5 hours to Canberra.

Key Duties

• Comprehensive mental health assessment, risk formulation, care planning, and therapeutic engagement.
• Safe medication administration (including depots) and physical health monitoring.
• De‑escalation and behavioural support using least‑restrictive practice.
• Discharge planning and community follow‑up within a multidisciplinary team.
