Matrix Education is now hiring a full time Maths Teachers to join our team.

Reporting to the Maths Coordinators, the role will be primarily based at our Sydney CBD head office for department administration hours and will require the candidate to travel to our Strathfield, Parramatta, Castle Hill, Chatswood, Epping and/or Hurstville campuses for weekly teaching hours in the afternoons.

This opportunity is ideal for a recent university graduate with teaching and tutoring experience seeking a full time teaching and academic role, or a school teacher looking for a new challenge in a great environment.

What you’ll do…

• Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term and daily classes during the NSW school holidays.
• Publishing and maintenance of Matrix Online Maths courses.
• Assisting the Maths Coordinator in roster management and departmental administration.
• Act as a reporting line for a team of Senior Tutors.

What you’ll need…

• A genuine passion for Maths Teaching.
• Good knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5 and 6 Maths.
• Previous experience teaching secondary Maths in a classroom setting.
• Completed their tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering and/or Education. Postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not necessary.
