Part-time Accounts & Payroll Officer 4 month FTC

Are you a motivated and experienced Part-Time Payroll & Accounts Officer to join our small but mighty team for a 4-month fixed-term contract? This is a unique opportunity to work on a focused payroll project while also contributing to general accounts duties. About the role :

• You will oversee the payroll function of approximately 9 staff members.
• You will contribute to any project related requirements, your passion for improving systems and data analysis will have a huge impact!
• You will work closely with the Management Accountant with general bookkeeping, including assigning and paying invoices, managing accounts payable, generating fortnightly pay runs, and performing weekly bank reconciliations.

About you :

• You’re a self-starter who enjoys autonomy but is also happy to collaborate and bring your experience to a close-knit team.
• You bring energy and positivity to your work and team; you are happy to support and collaborate with the wider business to achieve common goals.
• 3-5 years’ experience within payroll and accounts is highly desirable.
• You have experience in general bookkeeping duties with the ability to handle accruals, prepayments and expenses.
