The Gig

An exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamically , solutions-driven , and detail-focused Civil Project Engineer to join the business and become an integral part of a large delivery project team. With a high value investment supported by local and state governments, you'll play a critical role contributing to major work packages, including a community land development and a state-of-the-art recycling facility.

Based on site in Kurnell and reporting directly to a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities, overseeing construction processes, ensuring strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations, and driving the efficient delivery of the delivery program.

You will be trusted with :

  • Assisting with project documentation preparation
  • Efficiently planning and organising work for maximum productivity and safety
  • Leading daily site activities to ensure smooth progress and on-time project delivery
  • Collaborating with contractors and teams to tackle challenges and achieve exceptional outcomes
  • Overseeing construction processes to meet safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Working with technical drawings and designs to turn plans into reality
  • Inspecting materials and craftsmanship to ensure compliance with high project standards
  • Championing environmental best practices and aligning operations with circular economy principles
  • Planning and coordinating efficient material deliveries to keep the site running seamlessly
  • Implementing and upholding safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment
  • Maintaining accurate progress reports and documentation to track project success
  • Contributing to innovative waste management processes that make a real impact
  • What’s In Your Toolbox?

    You will have at least 5 years of civil experience, hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering.

    You will also have :

  • Knowledge and practical experience within the civil industry, ideally with earthworks packages.
  • Experience on projects exceeding $10 M
  • NSW White Card
  • Class C Drivers License
  • You communicate well, solve problems efficiently, and stay organised. You manage change, prioritise tasks, and work well under pressure. You engage confidently with stakeholders and focus on safety, quality, timeliness, and integrity in everything you do to ensure project success.
