Job descriptionPrepare, produce, and present compelling audio content for national audiences. Contribute to editorial discussions and pitch engaging stories that reflect Australia’s diversity. Research, set up, write and conduct pre-recorded and live interviews. Write news stories and edit tape items for broadcast. Stay abreast of major national and international news events. Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience. A passion for delivering breaking news and chasing down the big stories of the day. The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. A strong broadcast voice. Good editorial, organisational and communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively in a small team and to contribute to a positive work environment. Availability to work a variety of shifts across the day, including on weekends. Please include examples of your work with your application. 15.4% ABC Nominated Super.
