Are you a motivated and strategic thinker with a passion for building strong client relationships?  We’re looking for a driven State Account Executive - QLD to take ownership of wholesale accounts, nurture key partnerships, and spearhead new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary lead and point of contact for wholesale customers across Queensland (mainly metro area)
  • Drive the annual Joint Customer Business Planning process
  • Forecast and manage customer order requirements to meet demand
  • Deliver on budgeted volume, revenue, and GM targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers
  • Analyse data to identify product gaps, profitability opportunities, and new business prospects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, farming, category, marketing, and NPD teams to achieve business goals
  • Travel to support national events and key business activities as required

Key requirements :

  • Proven frontline sales experience with exposure to major wholesale accounts
  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing / FMCG environment
  • Strong ability to work autonomously, manage projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse a P&L and make informed decisions
  • Strong project management skills and ability to execute sales strategies effectively
