About the Role – Goulburn Base Hospital (Southern NSW LHD)

Position Available : RN – Mental Health (Inpatient and / or Community)

Service context : Goulburn Base Hospital is a larger regional hub with comprehensive services; the Mental Health team delivers recovery-oriented care across acute inpatient and community settings.

Location : Goulburn, Southern Tablelands — approx. 1 hour to Canberra; direct road / rail links to Sydney.

Key Duties

• Comprehensive MH assessment, risk formulation, care planning, and therapeutic engagement.
• Safe medication administration (incl. depots) and physical health monitoring.
• De-escalation and behavioural support using least-restrictive practice.
• Discharge planning and community follow-up within a multidisciplinary team.
