In support of our next phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced HR leader who operates with people front of mind and has a strong and proven ability to deliver outcomes and enable the business to optimise performance. This newly created role will join our onsite FMH team in Moorabbin and play a key role in shaping and supporting our people strategy and the centralisation of FMH Support Services functions including; Finance, Safety, People and Performance, Governance, Procurement, Marketing and Technology.

As a People and Performance Manager, you will :

  • Lead the strategic development and implementation of the People & Performance Strategy and initiatives aligned with the overall Group strategy
  • Manage and support end-to-end P&P processes across all aspects of the employment lifecycle, including talent attraction, onboarding, induction, probation, learning and development and performance review and management ensuring quality outcomes and an exceptional experience for employees
  • Provide proactive advice, support and coaching on all people-related matters including coaching and performance plans, succession and development planning and terminations
  • Manage and mitigate HR-related risk by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes and by taking a proactive and preventative approach for all matters
  • Lead and manage the resolution of workplace issues ensuring a fair and consistent process.
  • Design and implement Learning and Development initiatives to support team development and growth
  • Lead, mentor and develop a P&P team building a high-performance team that adds tangible value across all aspects of the employee life cycle
  • Partner with senior leaders to support ongoing business growth and transformation
  • Support with the implementation of People & Performance related projects, including Remuneration and Benefit review and any other projects
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and ISO Quality Management system
  • Provide comprehensive P&P reports and analysis of any variations as and when required

What we're looking for :

  • Previous experience working in a similar role in a fast-paced environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of generalist HR experience; 5 years in HR Management roles
  • Extensive experience partnering with business in HR activity.
  • Deep understanding of best practice, and “fit for purpose” HR strategies, practices and processes
  • Demonstrated capability in identifying innovative solutions to issues
  • Adaptable in dealing with ever-changing conditions
  • Strong focus on regular and ongoing professional development training, enhancing skills and career progression
