Chief Financial Officer

We are currently partnering with a leading, privately owned transport and logistics business in the vibrant Sunraysia region of northern Victoria. This highly successful and pivotal business in the region is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial strategy, compliance, and operational excellence for their established and growing business. This critical role reports directly to the Managing Director and offers the opportunity to support business growth and provide influence at a senior level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organisations financial management, statutory reporting, and compliance including taxation and audit requirements.
• Oversee management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Develop costing models, drive business planning, business case evaluation, and performance analysis.
• Support IT and system improvements.
• Manage payroll, debtor/creditor control, BAS preparation, and end-of-year accounts.
• Provide leadership to the finance & administration team and ensure robust processes for stock control and asset management.
• Manage other key areas including insurance, subcontractor payments, and quality management systems.

About You

As a CA/CPA qualified professional you will have experience in similar finance leadership roles where you have provided insightful commercial support to help facilitate strong financial performance and support growth. You will bring exceptional leadership and communication, along with strong stakeholder management skills across both finance and non-finance. You will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to deliver accurate financial reporting and strategic insights along with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
