We're seeking a talented Front End Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a key role for an experienced developer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where innovation meets practical application.

What does the team do in NextGen?

Our Engineering team is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering our cutting-edge open banking SaaS platform. We work cross-functionally to create user-centric solutions that directly impact millions of users interacting with financial services, focusing on scalable architecture and exceptional user experiences.

What does this role do within the team?

As a Front End Engineer, you'll be instrumental in crafting the user-facing elements of our platform. Your core responsibilities include :

Develop responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular) that deliver exceptional user experiences across all devices.

Collaborate with UI / UX teams to implement intuitive, accessible interfaces that balance functional requirements with aesthetic design principles.

Optimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and scalability enhancements while maintaining excellent UX across varying network conditions.

Essential Skills

3+ years Front End Engineer experience building complex, scalable applications, preferably in SaaS or fintech environments.

Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.

Strong API integration experience with RESTful services and authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID), particularly in financial services contexts.
