Finance Manager - Funds Management and Capital Partnering

The Opportunity - About the Role

Now is an exciting time to join our expanding portfolio. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the financial aspects of Stockland’s funds management and capital partnering business. Your responsibilities will include implementing and operationalising new capital partnerships, as well as ensuring the delivery of ongoing financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Lead the delivery of financial reporting for funds and capital partnerships – monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Support the Senior Commercial Manager and Senior Finance Manager to deliver and provide financial reporting and financial performance insights on funds and capital partnerships.
• Collaborate with the wider Group Finance and business teams (including Treasury, Tax, Legal, Funds Management, Information Technology) to implement and embed new capital partnering opportunities, with a particular focus on finance processes and financial reporting.
• Support Stockland’s compliance with fund and capital partnership deadlines, including to help deliver a materially clean audit of the fund financial statements.
• Partner with key internal customers or stakeholders to build and maintain strong working relationships

About You

We are seeking a candidate with a demonstrated understanding of accounting standards and principles, and experience in delivering high-quality processes and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who proactively challenges and influences decision-making, as well as having the ability to manage complex and multiple projects simultaneously.
