Vectiq is seeking multiple Security Incident Management Specialists to support the delivery of critical Cyber Security Services within a high-security government environment. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in strengthening Australia’s national cyber resilience , ensuring readiness and rapid response to emerging threats. You’ll be working alongside some of the best cyber professionals in the field, contributing to proactive defence and incident management strategies.

The ideal candidate thrives in complex, high-stakes environments and has a strong understanding of PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate incident response activities, from detection and containment to recovery and post-incident analysis.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve Incident Response Plans and Playbooks aligned with organisational and regulatory standards.
• Conduct threat hunting and proactive monitoring to identify potential indicators of compromise before they escalate.
• Perform digital forensic investigations to collect, preserve, and analyse evidence supporting root-cause analysis and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, lessons learned, and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
