Join a vibrant and renowned Catholic independent College in the northern suburbs of Melbourne for a part-time, one-year fixed-term contract as a Learning Diversity Teacher (0.6). The Role :

We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Diversity Teacher to join the team on a part-time (0.6). 1-year fixed-term contract basis

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced teaching staff to provide tailored support for students with diverse learning needs. This is a wonderful opportunity for an educator who is passionate about inclusion, differentiation, and making a meaningful impact on students' learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support in both classroom and individual settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, learning support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjustments to teaching strategies.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement, confidence, and growth.

Key Requirements :

  • A teaching qualification and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • Expertise in learning diversity and experience working with students with a range of learning needs.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and evidence-based practices in inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A passion for education and commitment to providing equitable learning opportunities for all students.
