Senior Associate - Lawyer, Major Projects and Construction

Leading Australian law firm seeking an experienced construction & major projects lawyer.

Overview

Major Projects & Construction

This nationally integrated team works on some of the most complex infrastructure, construction, facilities management and government procurement projects in the country.

You will work closely with leading partners and gain exposure to a range of matters including :

Government and private sector procurement

Drafting, negotiating, and advising on construction and other major infrastructure contracts

A diverse client base including ASX listed corporates, developers and various state and federal government departments.

Position Description

This role is ideal for a 5‑year+ PAE level lawyer. You will enjoy a steady flow of challenging and high‑impact work across both public and private sectors, working in a collaborative, high‑performing team with strong mentorship and leadership.

Additionally, you will work on some of the largest and most high‑profile projects and procurements in the country across various industries.

Requirements

Technical legal experience in construction and / or procurement

Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of contract, project and tender documentation

Confidence interacting with clients and working collaboratively in a team

A proactive, curious approach with a strong attention to detail
