The Position

This is a fantastic opportunity for a VR General Practitioner to join a GP-owned clinic located just an hour from Sydney in the beautiful Blue Mountains. The practice is looking to replace a GP leaving at the end of the year, with a strong focus on quality patient care, offering 20-minute appointments to focus on quality patient care. The practice supports a collegiate and team-oriented atmosphere, with regular clinical meetings and a daily team lunch from 1-2 pm where no one has appointments.

Health Service

The clinic is mid-size with 8 GPs currently working at the practice. The clinic offers for you to bill fully private or mixed billing. It is accredited with the RACGP for supervision and training, offering a great environment for both experienced GPs and those interested in teaching. The clinic features 7 consulting rooms, a treatment room, onsite pathology, and a visiting cardiologist. Nearby services include a pharmacy, physiotherapists, psychologists, and non-GP specialists. The clinic also uses Best Practice software.

The Location

Located in a DPA area in the scenic Blue Mountains, the clinic offers a peaceful working environment while still being within an hour’s drive from Sydney CBD. It’s easy to live in northwestern Sydney and commute to the practice. Many doctors, including the practice owner, commute regularly. The owner splits time between living near the clinic and two days a week in Epping, making this an ideal position for those who want a mix of city and mountain life. You can easily live half way and have a 30 minute commute to work and 30 minutes to the city.
