Primary Purpose of position :

This role is responsible for driving and coordinating global integrated account management and sales efforts for assigned accounts within the Automotive sector in Australia. With a focus on expanding existing business scope and identifying new opportunities, the position involves strengthening customer relationships, developing tailored solutions, and executing global sales strategies to achieve growth targets. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results driven professional with strong sales experience, who is self-motivated, curious, proactive, and able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

This role requires a strategic, customer-focused professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for driving sales growth in a competitive market while enhancing cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibility :

  • Lead integrated sales efforts for assigned accounts and customer base
  • Establish and execute Contracted Services & align with OKRs
  • Ensure customer objectives are met in accordance with agreements and overall business plans
  • Drive collaboration with regional and global sales teams to enhance customer engagement and growth
  • Business Growth & Solution Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Automotive sector, fostering both organic and strategic growth
  • Expand existing business by delivering innovative, value-driven solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Take an active role in cross-functional business development processes to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Serve as a key resource in leading large-scale solution development initiatives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Alignment

  • Work closely with Shipping and Logistics Operations, Digitalization, and Sustainability teams to develop integrated solutions for customers
  • Drive alignment between commercial strategy and operational execution, ensuring seamless implementation of customer solutions
  • Demonstrate expertise in solution development, with a strong focus on cross-functional integration and long-term customer partnerships
  • Knowledge and skills :

  • Proven Sales Expertise : Demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities, and executing successful sales strategies
  • Strong Account Management : Ability to develop and nurture long-term customer relationships, ensuring retention and business expansion
  • Strategic Thinking : Skilled in analyzing market trends, anticipating customer needs, and developing competitive strategies to drive business success.
  • Expertise in Shipping, Logistics and E2E supply chains : In-depth understanding of ocean freight, supply chain logistics, and multimodal transportation solutions, and a wide understanding of the Australian market
  • Market & Competitive Awareness : Strong knowledge of industry competitors, market positioning, and differentiation strategies
  • Relationship Building & Stakeholder Management : Proven ability to build trust, engage key stakeholders, and foster collaborative partnerships
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset : Proactive, innovative, and solutions driven approach to identifying opportunities and driving business growth
  • Education / Qualifications :

  • Relevant degree / tertiary education
  • Min. 5 years of experience in a similar sales & customer centric role
  • Relevant experience in the shipping / logistics industry (Desirable)
  • Experience in building customized E2E solutions
  • Strong expertise in the automotive sector is advantageous
  • Valid VIC Driver’s License
