Angourie Resort is no exception! Nestled in the heart of Yamba, we’re passionate about delivering memorable conferences, events, and celebrations. Now, we’re looking for a dynamic Events Coordinator to take our guest experience to the next level.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate all conferences and events at the resort, acting as the key point of contact for clients from initial inquiry to event follow-up.
  • Drive sales and repeat business by quoting, upselling resort facilities, and maximizing revenue through strategic yield management.
  • Plan and execute events end-to-end , collaborating with resortoperations, Food & Beverage, Revenue & Group Sales, Finance and external suppliers.
  • Respond promptly to all conference and event inquiries , ensuring every guest receives timely, professional service.
  • Showcase the resort through site inspections, client entertainment and familiarisation events as part of our sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Use guest insights to innovate , developing new products and services that enhance the guest experience.
  • Contribute to a positive, energetic team culture and bring plenty of fun along the way!
  • What You’ll Bring

  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive, can-do attitude. Your glass is always half full (if not overflowing!)
  • A proactive approach and strong drive for team results, with a track record of achievement
  • Experience in hotel, tourism, or hospitality (preferred but not essential)
  • Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with confidence in presenting and influencing others
  • Commercial acumen and a knack for building lasting relationships
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
