About the Role

We are currently seeking a Greenkeeping Team Leader to join our growing Turf Department. This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed their apprenticeship or has a few years of greenkeeping experience and is ready to step into leadership.

You’ll support the Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in delivering exceptional course presentation and leading staff — with a clear pathway to promotion into Assistant Superintendent within 12–18 months.

Key Duties will include :

• Carrying out and overseeing daily turf management tasks including mowing, spraying, irrigation, fertilising, and bunker maintenance.
• Providing leadership in the absence of senior greenkeeping staff.
• Mentoring junior and apprentice greenkeepers.
• Participating in and leading project work — including drainage, grow-ins, bunker rebuilds and turf establishment.
• Operating, monitoring and maintaining irrigation systems.
• Safely operating a range of turf machinery and tools.
• Contributing to course preparation for daily play and tournaments.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety across all turf operations.
