The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Advisor to provide leadership and specialist advice that supports strong environmental performance across our operations. In this key role, you will guide a small team to achieve the best environmental and organisational outcomes, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the mine is operated to minimise environmental impacts, particularly in relation to native vegetation clearance, and surface and groundwater management.
• Provide expert advice to the operations team on environmental compliance requirements.
• Lead environmental management planning, implementation, consultation and monitoring.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve environmental processes, procedures and standards.
• Facilitate development and submission of environmental regulatory approvals requests and reports in line with required deadlines and business priorities.
• Mentor and guide the Environmental Advisors to strengthen skills and capability.
• Conduct regular environmental reviews, field inspections and site assessments.
• Manage and monitor compliance with government regulations, licences and approvals, including the preparation of annual compliance reports.

Skills & Experience

Permanent, full-time position with a competitive remuneration package.
