Our Waste and Resource Recovery Department provides affordable, sustainable and safe waste management for residents and business in the Moreton Bay region. Waste and Resource Recovery delivers a wide range of waste management activities, including kerbside general waste, comingled recycling and garden organics collections, the operation of three major waste management facilities with landfills, two Treasure Markets and nine waste transfer stations. Other key activities include impact monitoring and long-term waste and recycling strategy, planning, education and capital programs and stakeholder liaison.
As a Technical Officer - Contracts Management, your duties will vary and utilise a working knowledge of Council’s Waste and Resource Recovery Contract Management processes and practices, Council’s Procurement Framework and industry knowledge to :
