• About the role

As a Yard Hand you will be a key member of our Huntingwood logistics team and be required to assist with the manufacturing of products and the packing and loading of products for our trade and retail customer base. This is a diverse and hands-on role which will require regular contact with our customers.

• Responsibilities
• Operate a forklift safely in a busy yard environment
• Load and unload trucks
• Locate and move steel products (including long products)
• Pack products for sale loading
• Maintain a very tidy and organised yard
• Assist with customer orders
• General housekeeping
• Skills and attributes
• A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Yard hand and forklift operating experience
• Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
• The ability to work in a team environment
• Fork truck license (essential)
• MR license (preferred)
• Computer literacy
