Client Side Project Manager

Your new company

Client is a respected project management consultancy with a local office based in Brisbane’s CBD. They offer a broad range of services including project management, development management and tenancy delivery. Due to continued growth, they are wanting to hire an experienced client side project manager to help the team grow.

Your new role

The role is a traditional client-side role. The company delivers end-to-end projects across a number of sectors including retail, commercial, industrial, multi-residential as well as having a strong reputation with public sector clients.

They are looking for an experienced client-side project manager to plan, coordinate and manage a number of projects with a broad range of values from smaller capex projects to large building projects.

Key to the role is delivering projects to budget while keeping a close eye on risks and keeping stakeholders happy.

What you'll need to succeed

The client is looking for an experienced client-side resource. They are looking to engage a hard-working, self-motivated employee that takes pride in their work and has a genuine passion for exceeding client expectations.

Ideally the candidate will be tertiary qualified in construction, architecture or quantity surveying and have experience working in-house for an institutional landlord or for a similar consultancy. The role is PM level – suggesting 3-6 years’ experience and will involve delivering some projects yourself while working to support SPM and PD on larger, more complicated and higher-value projects.

Currently projects include retail and education with a smaller industrial component, so experience in those sectors is ideal. Noting that they deliver broad projects and can change month to month, so experience in other sectors is also welcome.

Salary level is suggested in the 130-150k range depending on experience, with some flexibility at either end for particularly suitable candidates.
