Essential criteria

  • At least 3 years experience in establishing and managing Release Management processes in an enterprise business system context.
  • Working knowledge of the SDLC, DevOps and CI / CD, with proven experience of release management tools like JIRA, Confluence and Agile Methodologies.
  • Experience managing release-related interdependencies, ensuring adherence to key governance processes and milestone management, and maintaining the integrity of releases.
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, along with good collaboration, time management and negotiation skillset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to drive and improve all aspects of Release processes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications; and an industry recognised qualification in project management, such as Diploma of Project Management; or SAFe Agile.

Desirable criteria

  • Release and / or Project Management experience in Federal or State Government environments.
  • Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
  • Understanding of the Solution Delivery Lifecycle and relationship to Change Management & Release Management.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to protect against potential security threats,
