About this role

Position : Sonographer

Location : Bondi Junction and Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick

The Role : This is a permanent full-time position, reporting to the chief technologists. You will be based at our Bondi Junction and Prince of Wales Hospital clinics Monday to Friday with shifts rostered between 8am – 6pm.

  • Perform 15-20 ultrasound scans per day.
  • Support the radiologist with minor interventional procedures.
  • Collaborate with the technical and clerical team toward the positive team culture.

Our busy clinics in Bondi Junction and Randwick provide care for patients of diverse backgrounds across many diagnostic services. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience at both a private and a hospital radiology clinic and engage in a diverse range of case studies. PLUS the opportunity to upskill in obstetric and vascular ultrasound if required!

Requirements :

  • Current ASAR Registration.
  • Experience in general, obstetrics, musculoskeletal, simple vascular and breast imaging is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Be open to using a diverse range of equipment, these clinics use Philips and GE.
  • Availabiltiy to be on-call through the week and weekend 1-2 weeks per month.

    • On-Call Details :

  • Call outs are occasional and for a single case only.
  • On-call roster shared between a few sonographers.
  • Requirement to be on call 1-2 weeks per month.
  • Retainer for being on call when working and for your days off.
