Overview
Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa, located in Port Douglas, offers a range of accommodations and dining options, with spa services and wedding locations for leisure and corporate travellers.
As a Kitchen Attendant , your role is pivotal in maintaining the sparkle of our kitchen. Your main responsibilities involve upholding cleanliness of dishware, utensils, and workspaces, while adhering to hygiene standards. You are an integral part of the kitchen brigade, collaborating to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable hygiene while cleaning crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other kitchen equipment, using both commercial dishwashers and manual cleaning methods
- Carry out rubbish removal, sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors
- Disinfect and clean, ensuring the proper sequence of chemical usage
- Provide support to the kitchen team, including basic food preparation, grating, peeling, chopping, and preparing batters, garnishes, and seasonings
