About the role

As Geoscience Data Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for data management, data design and data integration activities with a strong focus on industry engagement and support in Geoscience Data Management Branch.

This role involves intra and inter-government collaboration and opportunity to work across a diverse range of data digital functions to help modernise and integrate departmental systems. Additionally, you will play vital role aiding in the application of data integration, supporting business efficiency, leading data usage and application projects and activities to deliver divisional custodial data. Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing guidance on formulating data structure, optimising data resources to support data usage applications and perform data integration, analysis, design, and other data science related activities.

Your extensive experience in data management, analytics and substantial experience in data analytics and integration application or methodology will be key to your success in this role.
