Job descriptionProven background in procurement or supply chain within mining or heavy industry. Strong understanding of electrical equipment and materials. Proficiency in the Pronto system (or similar ERP software). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, site-based project environment. Work with a major mining client on a significant capital project. FIFO from multiple Queensland locations. Opportunity to make an impact on critical project outcomes.
Procurement Specialist – Electrical Projects | FIFO
Coordinate procurement for electrical projects on a 6-month FIFO contract with a leading mining client.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities for electrical project packages.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee purchase order processes.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and compliance with procurement standards.
- Maintain data integrity and reporting within the Pronto system.
- Collaborate with project and site teams to meet operational schedules.
