Role : Outside School Hours Care Service Coordinator

Location : Armadale, VIC

Pay : $39 - $46 Per Hour + Generous Allowances

Type : Casual position

The Opportunity

Extend, part of The Extend Group, is seeking an OSHC Service Coordinator at Lauriston Girls' School in Armadale to oversee, teach, and care for children in a safe, engaging learning environment during Outside School Hours Care.

Role Details

Working hours include after school from 2 : 15 pm to 6 : 00 pm, holiday care up to 6 hours / day, Monday to Thursday. Includes paid administrative time and regular training meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the service.
  • Develop, plan, and deliver quality activities that are safe, fun, educational, and engaging.
  • Ensure child safety, supervision, and mandatory reporting compliance.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options.
  • Create a positive, engaging environment for children.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, children, families, and the school community.

  • Prerequisites

  • Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor’s in children’s services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care, or equivalent.
  • Current Employee Working with Children’s Checks or willingness to obtain.
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training or willingness to obtain.
  • CHCPRT001 Child Protection Certificate or willingness to obtain.
