As Group Procurement Manager, you’ll sit at the centre of the CPG value engine. Reporting to the COO, this is a senior, Group leadership role responsible for defining and executing procurement strategy and managing costs across multiple business units.
You’ll drive cost optimisation at scale, embed standardised governance and processes, and elevate procurement from function to strategic advantage. This role is about influence, transformation, and delivering measurable commercial outcomes, while building resilient, future-ready supplier ecosystems that support growth, innovation, and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute Group-wide procurement strategies that deliver cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Group Executive team, and the Executive teams of Clarendon Homes and Domaine Homes, as well as other senior stakeholders on procurement, cost optimisation, supply chain risk, and commercial strategy
- Drive procurement transformation initiatives, including process standardisation, technology adoption, and operating model uplift
- Source, establish and manage mutually beneficial strategic supplier partnerships that enhance quality, innovation, resilience, and scalability
- Deliver annual procurement and extra-to-schedule (ETS) savings targets, alongside robust financial analysis, whilst maintaining the quality of our homes
- Monitor markets, suppliers, and emerging technologies to identify competitive advantage and improvement opportunities
- Lead and manage a small team of specialists, ensuring succession plans in place for all critical roles
What We’re Looking For
- 10–15+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain, including 5–7+ years in senior leadership roles within complex, multi-business environments. Residential and/or commercial building experience is essential.
- Advanced qualifications in business, supply chain, or procurement, supported by professional certifications (e.g. CPSM, CSCP or equivalent)
- Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier relationship management, and supply chains
- Strong demonstrated commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into tangible outcomes
- Executive presence with the credibility to influence C-suite and senior stakeholders
- A proven track record of building consensus, driving change, and leading transformation
- High emotional intelligence, strong judgment, and the ability to navigate complexity across cultures and geographies
- Consolidating and optimising group-wide spend while maintaining and enhancing the quality our brands are known for
- Strengthening supply chain resilience in volatile and rapidly changing markets
- Embedding procurement as a strategic partner, not just a transactional function
- Driving adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working at scale
- Creating long-term value through smarter sourcing, innovation-led supplier partnerships, and disciplined execution
- Building consistent procurement governance and capability across diverse business units
