Base pay range

A$37.00 / hr - A$38.00 / hr

The Position

We are currently seeking FEMALE Support Workers to assist an older male with paranoid psychosis. There are currently shifts available Wednesday and Friday 11am-3pm with opportunities for other work. You will be assisting with Community Access, Providing Companionship and building their capacity.

Responsibilities

Domestic Assistance : Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping.

High-Level Personal Care : Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, and use of specialized equipment.

Respite Care : Provide relief to caregivers, allowing them time for rest or appointments.

Social Support & Transportation : Facilitate social engagement and assist with community activities and appointments.

Medication Monitoring : Prompt clients to take medication per their Care Plan.

Compliance : Follow operational guidelines and reporting requirements.

All other reasonable duties that may be included in a NDIS Support Woker Role.

Requirements

Cert 3 or above in Disability / Aged Care / Individual Support.

Minimum 1 year of experience in disability or aged care.

Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and relevant checks (WWCC, NDIS screening, First Aid, CPR).
