Remuneration : Broadband 5 / 6, level 5 from $88,717, level 6 from $103,866 plus 17% super

Why Your Role Matters Our External Engagement Coordinator will align to the External Engagement portfolio in the areas of Events, Fundraising, Sponsorship and External Engagement. As a member of the External Engagement Team the External Engagement Coordinator will support the External Engagement Manager in driving team initiatives and will establish and maintain productive working relationships with Faculty and University colleagues, visitors and students and our external communities including alumni, donors, and industry partners.

Accountabilities We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to coordinate alumni engagement and external relations for the faculty. This role involves managing alumni communications, coordinating events, maintaining accurate CRM records, and supporting strategic initiatives aligned with UNSW’s alumni strategy. You'll contribute to reporting and benchmarking, develop engagement programs, and support donor stewardship activities. Strong stakeholder collaboration, process improvement, and data integrity are key along with commitment to our UNSW Values.

Who You Are (skills And Experience)

At level 5

• A relevant qualification or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and experience.
• Demonstrated success assisting with an engagement program and project delivery or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in this field.
• Prior experience working in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• High-level organisational skills and proven ability to deal with multiple tasks, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
