    • Role and Responsibilities
    • Position Summary
    • The primary function role of the Business Intelligence Specialist in the Business Innovation (BI team is to develop and conduct in-depth data analysis and provide business insights to drive better operational capability. It will involve working collaboratively with senior stakeholders in the business and presenting insights and recommendations to support stakeholders making informed decisions.

      We are also interested in furthering our data collection and analysis practices, so you will be responsible for ideating new policies, procedures and programs from the ground up.

      We are also looking to utilise RPA at a local jurisdiction level so RPA development skills are highly desirable.

    • Role & Responsibilities
    • The primary responsibility for this position will be to support all Sales Divisions within the Samsung Portfolio. This is a critical support function to our sales teams to ensure they have the right insights available to them at the right time to make the right decisions for the Samsung business and it's clients.

      The role includes overseeing data ingestion from Samsung's retail partners into core systems, generating meaningful data insights / recommendations and presenting them through new and existing dashboarding toolsets and finally working with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve business performance.

    • Responsibilities / Duties
    • Retail / Channel Innovation Project Management
    • Manage and operate various innovation projects relating to retail / channel as well as internal operations. You will be asked to lead discrete pieces of work so should be confident working autonomously.
    • Data Collection
    • Oversee the collection of data in an automated fashion;
    • Where data collection is manual, develop suggestions on how to automate such processes;
    • Review and validate customer data as it is collected;
    • Dashboarding / Reporting
    • Work with the business to gather functional dashboarding requirements;
    • Develop new dashboards based on business requirements using a variety of tooling;
    • Monitor analytics and metrics results.
    • RPA Development
    • Lead the automation key of manual data upload and data ingestion processes.
    • Systems Management
    • Become an onshore expert for Samsung data systems in Australia;
    • Work with Samsung Regional HQ to develop system enhancements;
    • Store level sales & inventory optimization
    • Perform store level diagnostic analyses to address potential missed sales opportunities / stock-outs;
    • Analyse store inventory inefficiencies and articulate to internal / external stakeholders to have optimal store level inventory;
    • Review store / SKU level sales efficiency and provide recommendations to internal / external stakeholders on next steps;
    • Identify dead inventory.

    • Skills and Qualifications
    • Experienced professional with full understanding on specialized areas; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
    • Works on problems of diverse scope where analyzing data requires evaluating identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
    • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments
    • Typically requires minimum 5 years' of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience
