About the Practice

We are a progressive group of practices on the Eyre Peninsula.  Our Port Lincoln practice has a team of 13 and we are passionate about improving the vision and lives of our communities, by providing exceptional quality eye care and eye wear, always delighting our patients throughout their experience with us.

About the Role

This is a front of house customer facing role, working closely with customers, assisting optometrists and other team members.  Optical experience is welcome but not necessary; training will be provided for the successful applicant.

We are looking for someone who is flexible with hours and is able to work more when required.

Duties

• Engage closely with patients to assist with lens and frame selection
• Dispensing prescriptions prescribed by the optometrist
• Patient care
• Perform ancillary testing to support our optometrists
• Uphold professional standards
• Facilitate and foster teamwork and communication within the team and practice directors
• Be responsible for reception and general administration duties
