Location : Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre (Bexley), Bexley, New South Wales

Position : Casual

Salary : $31.70 to $35.51 per hour plus 25% casual loading, plus 12% superannuation.

About the role

Casual Customer Service Officer provides front‑line service to the community, selling and retaining centre programs and retail, ensuring customer retention, optimising facility usage and supporting positive customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct patrons and new service users to access and use Aquatic Pool facilities safely.
• Provide customers with accurate information regarding all activities of the Centre – entry fees, memberships, programs and events.
• Carry out emergency response activities and plans in line with the Centre's Emergency Management response plans.
• Promote the positive and collaborative culture and values of the organisation.
• Work collaboratively with the team, Manager and stakeholders to meet business unit goals and Council priorities.
• Ensure Child Safe Practices and procedures are implemented and complied with.
• Report potential safety issues that may cause injury or illness to staff or patrons immediately.
• Coordinate sales activities and tours to build and maintain a dedicated member base, influencing membership and program decisions.
