About The Role

This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective diversity and inclusion initiatives and community engagement programs across our Queensland operations. You will work closely with senior leadership, project leaders, people, communications and procurement teams to ensure that CDI principles are integrated into all aspects of our operations.

Your impact will be felt through the delivery of :

  • Program development : design and implement programs that will develop a more inclusive and diverse workplace, aligned to the global strategy, Reconciliation Action Plan commitments and client expectations
  • Community engagement and partnership management : ensure we are meeting our social performance commitments. You will manage our key community stakeholder relationships, including Traditional Owners and Community Partners.
  • Training and education : educate leaders and employees on CDI topics. Foster an inclusive culture though ongoing education and awareness.
  • Subject matter expert advice to leaders and employees on matters related to CDI topics.
  • Data analysis and reporting : monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of CDI initiatives. Analyse data, measure progress and inform strategic decisions.
  • Strategy development that contributes to business performance and growth.

About You

You will have strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee initiatives effectively. You possess strong communication skills with a proven ability to engage, influence, and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.

You have a deep understanding of cultural and diversity nuances, with a specific focus on Indigenous cultures and effective engagement with Indigenous stakeholders.

Experience in or aptitude for roles in Human Resources, Stakeholder Engagement, Communications, or Corporate Affairs / Public Affairs is advantageous. A degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Humanities, Communications, or Arts, and / or Business are desirable, but not required.
