Our Melbourne office is searching for a Senior or Principal Hydraulic and Fire Services Engineer to join our Buildings Services team based in the CBD. You’ll have the opportunity to work on new major building projects, in a growing team with an exciting culture. This role includes the opportunity to work on landmark projects, including the National Gallery of Victoria Contemporary and Defence projects.

To be successful in this position you will have experience in hydraulic and fire services engineering within the Building Services industry. You will be part of an established engineering team, responsible for designing and delivering building hydraulic and fire services systems from conceptual design through to construction completion. This role also offers opportunities to further develop technical skills and client-facing responsibilities across a range of project types with strong support from experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver building hydraulic and fire services systems from conceptual design through to construction completion.
• Apply Australian Standards across water services, sanitary and roof drainage, fire hydrant, fire hose reel and fire sprinkler systems.
• Develop calculations, concept sketches, reports, detailed designs including specifications and drawings.
• Collaborate with clients and the engineering team to meet project expectations and client requirements.
• Contribute to technical skills development and assume increasing client-facing responsibilities.
