Stone Wizard provides high quality stone installation and on-site fabrication of natural and engineered stone products to small commercial and residential customers

Health and Safety of our team is paramount to Stone Wizard. Our worksites have very low silica dust exposure, because our primary work is stone installation and onsite fabrication.

We are seeking an experienced Stonemason that performs accurate, high quality work to join our team.

• Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Transport of stone from factory to installation site
• Checking job site dimensions, especially square, level and plumb.
• Creating templates and checking existing templates against sight dimensions
• Reviewing job documentation prior to installation
• Installing stone material on horizontal and vertical surfaces
• Installing and fabricating custom-designed kitchens and other custom stone projects
• Joining, laminating and gluing stone on site including 90 degree and mitred edges.
• Caulking and sealing stone products
• Limited stone drilling and polishing on site.
• Required Skills and Attributes
• Current drivers license.
• Willingness to travel through out Melbourne ( travel time is usually allocated during regular work hours)
• Trade qualification in Stone or a similar trade
• 3 years stone work experience
• Experience installing stone in various locations.
• Good problem solving ability
• Ability to work to a deadline
• Desirable, but not Essential Skills
• Stone industry software experience.
• Ability to use CAD

Pay : $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
