Our client is situated in Portland, VIC. A beautiful coastal town offering lots to do on your days off. You will be in a fantastic working environment within the Pharmacy team.

A little about the role :

We are seeking a locum Pharmacy Technician, grade 2. Monday to Friday, 0830-1700. No rosters or weekend working. The applicant must have experience in a hospital setting. In this role you will be in a team and supported by multiple Pharmacists. Some of the duties include :

Processing of prescriptions for final checking by the pharmacist.
You will adhere to safe dispensing procedures.
Ensure appropriate dispensation.
Generate and distribute owed prescriptions to prescribers.
Collation of prescriptions and finalization of PBS claims.

Skills and Experience :

Experience working in a hospital Pharmacy.

Excellent interpersonal, organisational skills and Customer Service skills.

Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Have a great personality and be able to speak with a variety of people of all ages, genders, nationalities, and religious persuasions including other staff, customers and healthcare professionals.

Work collaboratively with the PIC, technicians and other team members.

Correct working rights in Australia.
