A little about the role:

We are seeking a locum Pharmacy Technician, grade 2. Monday to Friday, 0830-1700. No rosters or weekend working. The applicant must have experience in a hospital setting. In this role you will be in a team and supported by multiple Pharmacists. Some of the duties include:

• Processing of prescriptions for final checking by the pharmacist.
• You will adhere to safe dispensing procedures.
• Ensure appropriate dispensation.
• Generate and distribute owed prescriptions to prescribers.
• Collation of prescriptions and finalization of PBS claims.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in a hospital Pharmacy.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational skills and Customer Service skills.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a great personality and be able to speak with a variety of people of all ages, genders, nationalities, and religious persuasions including other staff, customers and healthcare professionals.
• Work collaboratively with the PIC, technicians and other team members.
• Correct working rights in Australia.
