Davidson Technology are working with a large State Government Department Agency to secure an experience Data Analyst to join their Business Transformation Office which is responsible for business and practice improvement, quality assurance, and people, culture and capability development.

About the Role

As the AO7 Data Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in enhancing data capture and performance reporting within the Agency by identifying gaps, improving workflows, and simplifying existing processes. Working collaboratively with the BTO team and key stakeholders, you will lead the analysis of current data systems, design revised business processes and implement digitised reporting solutions. Core responsibilities include data mapping, reconciliation, migration, and performance analysis, with a strong focus on reducing duplication, improving data quality, and ensuring business requirements are met through technically sound and strategically aligned solutions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate extensive technical design skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business outcomes. You’ll be driven to improve data quality, reduce duplication, and support informed decision-making to deliver best practice and timely, customer focused services to QCAT clients. You’ll possess strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst being a proactive member of the team.

The Benefits

You will be offered a 3-month contract (possible extension) on an excellent hourly rate and the ability to negotiate a flexible working arrangement for the duration of the assignment.
