Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Team Leader – Power Systems Capability & Planning. This role is available from locations : Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne or Sydney.

Role Overview

The Team Leader of Power System Capability and Planning is to develop and grow GHD’s presence, reputation and market share across the Australia and New Zealand power sectors, focusing on the delivery of Advisory services encompassing analysis of power system capability and power system planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the activities of the power system capability and planning team within the Power Advisory group
  • Deliver power system planning, systems capability and related regulatory and policy advice
  • Manage and develop processes and systems to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality power system planning and power system capability advice
  • Lead business development activities to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Develop and mentor the Advisors and Senior Advisors in the power system capability and planning team in all aspects of their roles
  • Build market profile and identify and develop business opportunities

What will you bring to the team?

  • Degree qualified Electrical Engineer
  • Experience in Project Management and successful delivery of power system planning projects
  • A commercially astute focus and awareness
  • Goal‑oriented and a problem‑solving mindset coupled with the ambition to develop
  • A client‑centric focus allowing the team to provide high‑quality client experience
  • Established profile in the power sector with recognised power system planning experience
  • Proven leadership and development of successful teams
